Rainer Erich Scheichelbauer
Rainer Erich (‘Eric’) Scheichelbauer was born in Vienna, and studied photography, philosophy and Dutch. Today, he creates and produces typefaces, teaches type design, and translates Dutch books into German. Internationally, he is known for his involvement with the font editor Glyphs, for which he has been writing tutorials and handbooks.

“Responsive icons with Variable Font technology”
Variable fonts are on their way to become the vector graphic format of the future. In this workshop, learn how to create an icon in Glyphs, add a morphing axis to it, and export it as a variable font. Subsequently, learn how to trigger icon animation in simple CSS and HTML.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bring your MacBook with Glyphs 2 preinstalled.
