Before Lisa Schultz joined Schriftlabor she graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna in graphic design and advertising and continued her studies in typeface design at the University of Reading, UK. When Lisa is not busy drawing letters she teaches typography and bakes cakes.

“Variable Pixel Fonts with Glyphs”

Discover Glyphs by building your own pixel font! Then, we will add variable axes to the pixel shape, and export a variable font. We will then proceed to animate your pixel font in a web browser. First, in a font test page, then, optionally, i.e. if you are geeky enough to type some CSS code, in a CodePen document.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bring your MacBook with Glyphs 2 preinstalled.
