Kelvin Wong is a Thai Malaysian graphic designer living and working in Bangkok. Having worked for Leo Burnett, Bakery Music and Propaganda, he now runs his own studio exploring the possibilities of graphic design as a catalyst for progress.

His work varies from designing the museum identity for The First Royal Factory at Fang, to corporate identities for Phenomena, Propaganda and a school, Panyaden International School. His love for music has lead him to a long-lasting collaboration with Moderndog, designing their album covers Love Me Love My Life, TingNongNoy and the compilation CD singles set and band merchandise, for their sixth album Pod Pong May-T. He has directed music videos for Moderndog, Rik Wachilapun and This Is Pop 2.

Kelvin also holds a position as Year 2 Lecturer in Studio in Graphic Communication Year 2, CommDe, Chulalongkorn University. He serves as a Brand Consultant for Vatin/Vin, Rainbow Water and Yayee Hotel, Chiangmai. Currently, he is producing brand merchandising collections for Ananda Everingham, Siam Commercial Bank and rebranding a chinese food brand Kind Wanjia.

Asia Bilingual and multiple scripts in SE Asia have never been easy. This group discussion will be focusing on the common issue of what is like to a type designer and graphic designer in the cross culture junction.

Leaded by Muthu Nedumaran a pioneer of type design and type related technology and Tan Sueh Li, the new generation of Malaysian type designer. Both are two respected names in type design from Malaysia the heart of multiple scripts in SE Asia. Also join the conversation with Kelvin Wong a notable Malaysian designer who lives and works in Thailand.
