Prinya is founder of a long standing type foundry DB Fonts. DB is a popular short initial of Dear Book Design, the first Thai design firm equipped with digital font production. DB Font collection is a pioneer of Thai digital font and has been in the business for almost three decades. His display font DB Santipap was recognized by TDC in 2005. He also developed ‘DB King84’ as an honor and join the birthday celebration of HM Bhumibol Adulyadej. Parinya recently received Silapatorn Awards for the best in creativity.

“New direction of Thai Font”

Opentype gives a new opportunity for us to develop Thai font. Ligature feature in Font Lab is a wonderful thing. Parinya will share his view on how he took advantage of “Liga” in Fontlab. He will give us a glimpse on the new Thai display font that he is cooking at DB.
