Vorathit Kruavanichkit
After completing high school and then graduating with a BA in Graphic Design from the USA, Vorathit spent one year working for a graphic design firm based in Los Angeles, California. Gaining sufficient design experience in various types of creative projects, coupled with tactics in dealing with artistic clients, Vorathit returned to Thailand for more opportunities in 2003.
Fulfilling one of his dreams, Vorathit worked with a renowned design firm based in Bangkok for almost two years. He then decided to further his academic background and attended the Masters Degree program in Business and Management at Assumption University. While attending MBA courses at Assumption University, Vorathit was invited to be a full–time lecturer for the Department of Visual Communication Arts, and there he devoted his love for graphic design and typography to the students in the BA program for seven years.
His passion for design grew boundless and in 2005 Vorathit, as a design director and his co–founder, with vast experiences in different creative fields, set up a Bangkok–based creative and design consultancy firm called “Farmgroup”. Its work reigns across art and design disciplines of branding, identity, print, motion, exhibition, event and installations. Farmgroup’s outputs in all fields are widely appreciated and recognized in the local and international medias. With clients ranging from Vogue Thailand, Louis Vuitton, Bacardi to W Hotels Worldwide. Its successful pioneering and award–winning projects known to public are such as, the Chonburi Football Club identity redesign, graphic program for the Association of Siamese Architect Expo in 2012, Vogue Thailand Launching Event, Noble Development Annual Report and Siam Center Christmas Installations in 2010.
Vorathit participated in many national design conferences, workshops and lectures. He has been interviewed and published by local and international magazines. He is currently a visiting professor at Chulalongkorn University, a Vice President of Thai Graphic Designers Association (ThaiGa) and also a Design Director of Farmgroup, a Bangkok–based creative and design consultancy.

"Why should I setup a Type Foundry?"
Key elements of Tap’s lecture will include: Some of his influences and inspirations, his Bangkok–based design studio “Farmgroup”, important milestones during his career, and his future goals.
Tap will focus mainly on the influence of Typography in his work, his main tool for serving clients and resolving their communication problems. He will discuss how he incorporates Typography into his design works in both two and three–dimensional output.
He will then introduce "Produce", his brand new type-foundry with the help and coaching of Cadson Demak team. and explain the background and his intention behind it. He will proceed to show some of Produce's typefaces.
